Dr. Raul Campilho is a Permanent Auxiliary Professor at ISEP School of Engineering, Porto, Portugal. He holds a Degree in Mechanical Engineering (ISEP), a Master's in Mechanical Engineering (FEUP), a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering (FEUP) and Habilitation in Mechanical Engineering (FEUP), all awarded with distinction. With over 20 years of teaching experience, he has lectured at ESEIG, ISEP, and ULP, covering subjects such as Finite Element Method, Mechanics of Materials, Machine Design, and Industrial Automation. He has supervised 6 Ph.D., 23 M.Sc., and 52 B.Sc. theses. Post-Doctorate from the University of Brighton (2015). He worked as Project Coordinator, Section and Division Manager at the Telebras Research and Development Center (1986-2001). Full Professor at the University of Sao Francisco (1996-2008) and Associate Professor at the Federal University of ABC (UFABC) (2009-present). He was Coordinator of the Bachelor's in Science and Technology (2009), Deputy Provost of Undergraduate Studies (2009-2010) and Provost of Undergraduate Studies (2011-2014) at UFABC. He was President of the College of Pro-Rectors of Brazil (He coordinated several research projects (sponsored by CPqD-Telebras, CNPq, FAPESP, CAPES and several companies) and was responsible for transferring some technologies developed to national companies. Dr. Noe Anes is a Mining Engineer and Dr (c) in Materials at the University of Oviedo related to bioplastics. Researcher in the department of materials. I have been working for the last 6 years in materials, nanomaterials and more than 10 years in Bioplastics. Collaboration project with the University in Colombia on a bioplastics project. Manager R&D of numerous national and international projects with materials such as polyvinylidene fluoride or polyhydroxyalkanoates. I have participated in numerous international conferences. I have published several research papers in journals and written chapters in numerous books. I am also a peer reviewer for international indexed journals.

Prof. Orchidea Maria Lecian graduated in Theoretical Physics at Sapienza University of Rome and ICRA- International Center for Relativistic Astrophysics in 2005 and completed her International Relativistic Astrophysics Phd at Sapienza University and ICRA. She was post-doctoral Fellow at IHES (Bures-sur-Yvette, France), AEI-MPI (Potsdam-Golm, Germany) and Sapienza University of Rome. She has taken part in intensive research programmes at AEI-MPI (Potsdam-Golm, Germany) and The Fields Institute for Research in Mathematical Sciences (Toronto, Canada). She has been researcher for SAIA- NS'P (The National Scholarship Programme of the Slovak Republic- National Stipendium Program) as Research grantee and appointed Erasmus Lecturer at Comenius University in Bratislava, Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics, Department of Theoretical Physics and Physics Education- KTFDF. She has been Assistant Professor at Sapienza University of Rome and is Professor at Sapienza University of Rome. She is was Visiting Professor at Kursk State University, Chair of Algebra, Geometry and Didactics of Mathematics Theory within the Programme Education in Russia for Foreign Nationals of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation in 2022-2023. She has contributed in national conferences and international conferences. She is member of several Research Consortia. She is author of research papers, conference papers, review papers, invited papers and two books. She is reviewer and editorial-board member of several Journals.

Dr. Miguel Nuno Miranda received the degree in Energetic Engineering (University Autonomous of Lisbon) in 1998 and the Ph.D. degree in Environmental Science (University of Aveiro) in 2009, Portugal. Dr. Miguel Miranda has authored more than 60 scientific works (including chapters, papers in international journals and book of proceedings, and poster presentations) and his commitment to working at interdisciplinary boundaries is evidenced by his involvement as Editorial Board Member of several scientific journals as well as in International Conferencesas Organizing Committee Member. He graduated in both Chemistry (1976) and Physics (1977) at UnB. Professor Morais is member of the Brazilian Physical Society and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers at IEEE. He has served as referee for more than 50 technical journals, takes part of the Editorial Board of more than 15 technical journals and has conducted research on nanomaterials for over 40 years.

Evamaria I Petersen is an Associate Professor at the Department of Materials and Production at Aalborg University, Denmark. She received her PhD from Technical University in Graz, Austria. After working for 2 years as a postdoctoral fellow at SINTEF Unimed in Trondheim (Norway), she moved to University of Aalborg (Denmark), where she became part of the at that time newly established protein engineering team. She is on the editorial board of the Journal "Protein Engineering, Design and Selection". After almost 10 years of absents from research, she started again in 2020 to engineer enzymes. She has over 20 years of experience with engineering of hydrolases/lipases. Her current work focuses on "de novo" design of enzymes degrading polymers for plastic recycling.

Dr. Katja (Heppe) Richter is a biotechnology expert specializing in chitosan research and applications. She studied Biotechnology at the Technical University of Braunschweig, focusing on pharmaceutical research and drug delivery systems. Her scientific work includes investigating the influence of chitosan and its derivatives on transepithelial flux in collaboration with Bioservice Halle GmbH and modifying chitosan particles for blood-brain barrier transport with the Paul Flechsig Institute for Brain Research at the University of Leipzig. In 2005/2006, she founded Heppe Medical Chitosan GmbH and has since been a key figure in the chitin industry. Since 2009, she has served on the board of the European Chitin Society (EUCHIS), where she has been Treasurer since 2017. As CEO of HMC+, she continues to drive innovation in chitosan-based applications.

Prof. Joana M. R. Curto is a Chemistry Professor at the University of Beira Interior (UBI) and Principal Researcher at FibEnTech-UBI and CERES, University of Coimbra. A Chemical Engineer with a PhD in Paper Engineering, her research centers on sustainability and bioresources, particularly in the functionalization of fiber-based materials from renewable sources like cellulose fibers. She coordinates R&D projects and leads efforts in the PRR Project “From Fossil to Forest FF2F.” She is also an expert in optimizing materials for improved performance and sustainability using advanced simulation and AI methodologies.

Magnus S. Magnusson, Ph.D., Emeritus Research Professor, founder and director of the Human Behavior Laboratory (hbl.hi.is), University of Iceland. Author of the T-pattern, T-string, and T-system model and the corresponding detection algorithms and software THEMETM (PatternVision.com), initially focusing on the real-time organization of behavior. Co-directed DNA analysis. Numerous papers, talks, and keynotes in ethology, neuroscience, mathematics, religion, proteomics, mass spectrometry, A.I., robotics, and nanoscience. Deputy Director 1983-1988 in Museum of Mankind, National Museum of Natural History, Paris. Repeatedly invited Professor at the University of Paris, V, VIII, and XIII in psychology and the biology of behavior. Now works in formal collaboration between 32 European and American universities initiated in 1995 at the University Rene Descartes of Paris V, Sorbonne, based on “Magnusson’s analytical model”.

Fatemeh Ajalloueian is an Associate Professor at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). Her research focuses on integrating biomaterials, tissue engineering, and micro/nanoscale technologies to develop 3D tissue constructs for biomedical applications. With a background in the science and engineering of polymeric fibers, she began her work on nano-micro structured scaffolds and continues advancing research in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. She has received prestigious grants from the Danish Council for Independent Research (DFF) and the Sapere Aude (Research Talent) program to develop nanodelivery systems for urine bladder tissue engineering, in collaboration with DTU, Uppsala University, and Karolinska Institute (Sweden).

Dr. Mohammad F. Bayan is working as an Associate Professor of Pharmaceutics at faculty of Pharmacy in Philadelphia University, Amman, Jordan and is currently the Head of Pharmacy Department. The major focus of Dr. Bayan's research involves the development of controlled and triggered drug delivery systems using advanced and novel technologies. His work involves organic synthesis, synthesis and characterization of polymeric smart materials and performing drug release studies. Dr Bayan was awarded a scholarship from the Philadelphia University Jordan during his bachelor's study and a scholarship from Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) during his master's study. After finishing the master's degree, Dr. Bayan has worked as a part time lecturer in JUST and Philadelphia University; until he awarded, in 2014, a scholarship from the Philadelphia University Jordan to commence his PhD studies in Queen's University Belfast, UK. Joao Carlos Velosa, graduated in Polymer Engineering (2003), master in Materials Processing and Characterization (2007) and Human Engineering (2018) from the University of Minho. His academic and research career has been dedicated to composite materials in several areas and with a focus on understanding composite materials manufacturing processes using computational finite element simulations for structural optimization. Omar Arous is a professor of chemistry at U.S.T.H.B and has been Research Director at ‘‘Center of Research in Physical and Chemical Analysis’’. His present research interest includes polymer chemistry and elimination of heavy metals and surfactants from wastewaters using synthesized polymeric membranes.

Yina Paola Ortega Santiago is currently a professor at the Popular University of Cesar in Cesar, Colombia.

Prof OUAKKI Moussa received his PhD thesis in Physical Chemistry of Materials from Ibn Tofail University, Kenitra in 2019. He is an expert in corrosion sciences, especially in corrosion of metals, alloys, and their inhibition in acidic medium using organic and inorganic compounds and plant extracts. His work deals with corrosion inhibition by using chemical, electrochemical techniques and computational calculations. He is currently working at the National Superior School of Chemistry, Ibn Tofail University, Kenitra. He has published more than 108 papers and11 book chapters cited by 3253 documents and an inventor of 1 patent, with a focus on materials and their applications. He has participated in more than 103 conferences. His H-index is 36 on Scopus.

Dr. Ghadir Ali is a faculty member in the Department of Medical Engineering at Tishreen University, Syria, specializing in prosthetics, biomaterials, and biomechanics. With extensive experience in ventilation and air conditioning projects for the Syrian Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Local Administration and Environment, he has also served as a project supervisor from 2013 to 2021. Dr. Ali has held multiple academic roles, including lecturing at Tishreen University, Al-Andalus University for Medical Sciences, and serving as a supervisor at the National Center for the Distinguished. His expertise extends to prosthetic design, biomaterials (PEEK, titanium, stainless steel 316, etc.), and composite materials (fiberglass, carbon fiber). He has hands-on experience in prosthetic measurements, fabrication of adjustable sockets, and biomechanical applications.
