Dr. Miguel Nuno Miranda received the degree in Energetic Engineering (University Autonomous of Lisbon) in 1998 and the Ph.D. degree in Environmental Science (University of Aveiro) in 2009, Portugal. Dr. Miguel Miranda has authored more than 60 scientific works (including chapters, papers in international journals and book of proceedings, and poster presentations) and his commitment to working at interdisciplinary boundaries is evidenced by his involvement as Editorial Board Member of several scientific journals as well as in International Conferencesas Organizing Committee Member. His main research interests include waste management and/or valorization of different materials through thermochemical conversion processes, production of fuels and biofuels andsolar energy concentration (SEC) solutions towards the production of solar fuels.

Amir H. Abdullah Aydin is an Professor of Science/Chemistry Education at Kırsehir Ahi Evran University, Turkey. He received his Master's in Analytical Chemistry from Uludag University in 1995. He received his Ph.D. in science / chemistry education from Gazi University in 2004. He is a member of the editorial team of 74 international journals (disciplinary and interdisciplinary). Dr. L. Ma is an Assistant Professor at Shandong University, China, in the School of Civil Engineering, specializing in experimental materials chemistry and physical chemistry. His research focuses on the chemical degradation of epoxy-based composite materials and the development of hydrogel-based soil stabilizing admixtures. Previously, he worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Shandong University's Key Laboratory of Colloid and Interface Chemistry, where he designed deep eutectic solvents for chemical degradation and developed hydrogel-based transparent soil for root exudate studies. Dr. Ma earned his Ph.D. from Iowa State University, where he advanced hydrogel-based transparent soil for root phenotyping. He holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Materials Physics and Business Administration from Shandong University. His notable publications include work on hydrogel-based transparent soils and the use of hydrogels in plant culture.
